This wine region is part of the larger North Canterbury wine region that spans nearly 200km of the South Island’s eastern coastline, with the majestic Alps to the west and the great Pacific Ocean to the east. Waipara has a cool, dry climate with good sunshine and long growing season that promotes full expression; and their wines are renowned for their intense flavours, and richness.

Waipara is the perfect place to escape the city and spend time in the beautiful countryside dotted with vineyards. You will get to taste some of the best wines and sample a range of both white and red. Plus don’t worry about who will drive, as we take care of the driving for you.

Itinerary
Christchurch – We will pick you up and head north towards our destination, along the way our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide will point out Christchurch’s top highlights, and the city will make way for country. Make sure you have your camera ready, as the countryside is beautiful.
Waipara – We arrive in this picturesque location, ready to visit a few of the local vineyards, and sample some of their best red and white wines. Lunch is included.
Christchurch – Sadly our time in wine region has come to close for the day, and we make our way back to the city, with fantastic memories of a wonderful day out.
