The session starts with a land based safety briefing and then move onto the water. Then, take a guided paddle on the beautiful, historic River Dart, exploring its hidden creeks and watching for wildlife on your way.
Please note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.Participants should be able to swim 50m.
It is advised that a bottle of water, comfortable clothes, water shoes/flipflops and a wet-suit (in cold weather) is brought to the activity.

Ideally placed on the calm Devon waters our Stand Up Paddleboarding venue in Dartmouth is the perfect place for a true adventure - taking part in an activity that's the perfect blend between canoeing and surfing. Suitable for everyone regardless of level of ability, our sessions take place under the guidance of a friendly instructor. So, even if you've never taken part in Stand Up Paddleboarding before, you'll quickly get to grips with the basics as you glide through the water - admiring breathtaking scenery along the way! With full equipment and a safety briefing provided upon arrival, you'll have all that you need for your action-packed experience on the water!

Placed perfectly next to the River Dart, our fantastic Dartmouth Stand Up Paddleboarding venue is located close to several amazing tourist attractions. This includes the wonderful Dartmouth Castle and Bayard's Cove Fort, both of which are just a short distance away. We're a quick drive away from the A379, and the A385 is also within reach.
