(I century AD) built with white marble and the Roman stadium (II
century AD).

buildings and the magnificent houses from the period of the Bulgarian
Revival in the 18th-19th centuries. The city center and the Bohemian
quarter of Capana offer fine examples of Neo-Baroque and Neo-Gothic
