Our first adventure to be built in the grounds of a country house hotel, Go Ape at Matfen Hall is nestled within one of the UK's most unspoilt areas of natural beauty. Located just 15 miles west of Newcastle in the charming village of Matfen, swing through the trees and fly down the zip wires while lapping up some of the finest scenery in Northumberland.

Matfen is also one of our few Go Ape locations built on deciduous trees, 30ft-high in the treetops. With a mixed woodland scenery, it will seem fresh and different each time you visit. Designed to push you hard, this Treetop Challenge has high platforms, super speedy zips and stomach-churning Tarzan Swings. Be warned - if you’re coming during the summer months, when the leaves are dense, you’ll hear the screams before you see the course!
