The decision to fly is made by our Heli tour partner on the day. If the flight does not take place, you will remain with the main tour group in your vehicle and be refunded the helicopter portion of your day tour ticket immediately. Fiordland weather is very changeable, and while it may seem sunny and fine in Milford Sound, the mountain ranges create their own systems of weather & wind that pilots must c onsider. Safety is our first priority The return helicopter flight requires a minimum of 3 people to fly. We join with other tours to do our best to make the flight travel and most of the time this occurs.
