Option 1 - Mount Herbert - allow an hour and a half
Fly over Christchurch and you will soon understand why it is affectionately known as the Garden City. A multitude of parks appearing beneath you, views of the lush banks of the Avon River and the beautiful botanical gardens make Christchurch a delight to see from above.
Then it’s on to the beautiful Port Hills to land on Mt Herbert, the area’s highest peak, which rises on the southern side of the crater rim of Lyttelton Harbour.
From the summit enjoy spectacular 360-degree views encompassing Governors Bay and Quail Island, the Canterbury Plains, and the majestic Southern Alps.
Alternatively, we can fly you into a stunning secluded bay on the Banks Peninsula, not accessible by road.

Option 2 - Chest Peak - (seasonal snow during winter months) – Allow an hour and a half
Lift off over the Canterbury Plains and head to Chest Peak, a mountain in the Southern Alps of the South Island. A bird’s eye view of the Canterbury plains and the mighty braided Waimakariri River that flows from the mountains to the sea.
Chest Peak sits at a height of 1936 meters, feel the fresh alpine air in your lungs as you step out into the remote wilderness to enjoy the vista of the many peaks and rivers.
