Why not try your hand at clays shooting at one of the best English Sporting facilities in the north of England? Our 70 acre layout features lakes, ponds, moorland, forest, rhododendron cover and gravel paths. This is where our expert tutors will teach you to obliterate our flying targets. There are 50 fully automatic traps available to you, and 30 stands include hides, lowered platforms and 9 towers which range from 12ft to 80ft. Tuition is geared to your particular skill level and is designed to consistently challenge. We are a great option for group visits too. All tuition and equipment is included in the price of the package, as well as some food and drink to keep you sharp. Venue closed on Mondays. Please note: Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a lead at all times.

General Location

Amazing experience for my 12 and 8 yo, they absolutely loved it. Michael the instructor was brilliant with the kids and incredibly experienced. It was raining on the day but made no difference to the enjoyment and the kids want to go back for the other one's birthday

What an informative, educational and professional experience. Jeff, the children’s instructor was great. We couldn’t have asked for a better instructor for the session. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it, we enjoyed watching and the time flew by. With a bit tweaking the kids were hitting the clays no problem. We would recommend the experience in a heart beat! Especially Jeff, what a credit to the place in our eyes. Thank you once again, the Grants.

Jeff was incredible! His instructions were bob on! He was very attentive and professional! My husband had a great time and he made my husband feel very comfortable despite it being his first time handling a fire arm. He wants to do this every year
