Our brilliant Castlethorpe venue offers high quality, qualified instructors to novices, improvers and expert shooters. We offer you the chance to extend the ultimate invitation to friends, colleagues and clients; the chance to experience the thrills of clay pigeon shooting at this prestigious venue. We can accommodate mixed parties of between 5 and 80 people and provide all of the necessary equipment including gun, cartridges and more. You'll receive plenty of tea and coffee, and depending on the scale and duration of your event you might even choose to book lunch and enjoy a presentation at the end of your shoot.

Terry Fricker (the tutor) was great. The last time I held a shotgun was 45 years ago yet within a few minutes he had me hitting clays (obviously not all). I felt the session better than expected as I was being shown how to do things correctly not just firing a few shots at clay more in hope than judgement. Very happy!

The big shoot. I received this booking as a gift from my daughter. Never having pulled a trigger on anything but an air rifle at a fair ground prior to, I was surprised as to how quickly I picked this up. Terry my tutor looked the part in tweed and deer stalker. A real gent and excellent teacher. Would not just let you bang away at clays, but took time to explain to this excited 58 year old the disciplines and techniques to get the best out of the event. From a total novice, I ended up better than a 75% hit rate (and still improving) over the whole session due to his patient measured tuition.
