A fantastic all round underground adventure in a disused lead mine for adults and the whole family. Based in Matlock Bath, Peak District. A relatively dry trip, stood more upright, but with some tighter sections, we explore lots of interconnecting passageways - a real feeling of getting lost!!

Looking at some cave formations and the different mining techniques used to extract lead in days gone by whilst squeezing and climbing through the many tunnels. Please be aware there is a 10 minute moderately steep uphill walk to the mine from the car park.

Please wear warm old clothes that will get muddy and wet – bring wellys where appropriate unless ordered with myself beforehand. Changing is in or by your car – bring large towels, extra socks for padding out wellys, and spare clothes. Please confirm if you need any wellys (whole sizes only 1 – 12). Please confirm how tall you are for the cave suits.

All under 18s must be accompanied by a fee paying parent.
