Artist Raquel Carter an experienced artist and teacher, will take you on a guided tour into the valleys behind Queenstown, off the beaten track where you can embrace the art of Plein Air – painting outdoors on location. Bringing our easels and art materials with us, we adventure, observe and discover connection to nature through sketching, painting and some photography. So please bring your camera.
We will be spending time up in the high country, where Raquel will provide guidance and assistance to get you started on your own creations. Regardless of your artistic experience. We can provide you with artistic tips and techniques, so you are able to create a piece of work on the day and continue sketching long after the excursion ends. This is a magical day out and relaxing way to experience the famous Queenstown mountains. An incredible day out, full of opportunity to be reconnected with your creative self, inspired by nature, creating memories to take home with you.
